Ashwagandha is a small shrub from India, where its root has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. KSM-66® is made in India from the root only, with a water-based process and no added solvents, and is the most studied branded ashwagandha extract.
Why the root only
Many extracts are made partly from leaves, which are cheaper. The leaves hold more withaferin A and a different profile of compounds. KSM-66® uses only the root, so the extract keeps the full spectrum of the root's own compounds, in their natural proportions.
How to take it
1 to 2 capsules a day with a glass of water, preferably with a meal: ashwagandha holds both water- and fat-soluble compounds.
